Screening with Vincent Cappello and Matthieu di Stefano

A graduate of the Théâtre National de Chaillot, Vincent Cappello also obtained a degree in social politics at the Sorbonne. After having performed a number of roles in theater and cinema, he wrote scripts (Max, Sol…) and collaborated, as an author, with various artists: Dominique Farrugia, Amelle Chahbi, Jézabel Marques, Faïza Guène, Elie Semoun… He also directed numerous clips (Chinese Man), web series (Le Nouvel Élysée) and short films (Traverser, À peine and Mr Hernst).
His first fiction feature film New World, which combines professional actors (Sandor Funtek, Iris Bry, etc.) and non-professional actors (its hero Rohid Rahimi is an Afghan refugee met within France Terre d'Asile) was selected at the Festival of the French-speaking film of Angoulême 2023, at the Festival International de Saint Jean de Luz, at the Festival Premiers Plans d'Anger as well as the Premier film festival D'Annonay.
He has just directed a play Michetonneuse at the Apollo Théâtre with Amelle Chahbi and Zoé Marchal.
He is currently preparing his second film Dernier appel, produced by Agat Films and distributed by Bac Films, with Camélia Jordana, Julia Piaton and Sandor Funtek.
