Hugo Gonzalez-Pioli, a French composer and conductor, began his musical education at the Conservatoire de La Seyne-sur-Mer and Toulon, then continued at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional in Marseille, where he studied musical composition, harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration.

Quickly, he became interested in the relationship between music and image, leading him to enroll at the age of 18 at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon in the "Composition for Visual Media" program, where he earned his bachelor's degree.

He then traveled to Los Angeles to attend the SMPTV program (Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television) at the prestigious University of Southern California (USC). In France, he began his career by composing music for numerous short films, documentaries, and feature films. He made his debut with original music for the film Arrête ton cinema ! directed by Diane Kurys, followed by the film Demi-Sœurs directed by Saphia Azzeddine and François-Régis Jeanne.

Recently, he composed the music for Michaël Dichter's latest film, Les Trois Fantastiques, which has already received numerous awards: Best Film at the Giffoni International Film Festival, Best Film at the Sarajevo Film Festival, and Best Male Performance at the Saint-Jean-de-Luz International Film Festival.
