Vanessa Filho is a French video director, screenwriter, musician and photographer. She began by directing short films and documentaries, and in 2018 she directed Gueule d'ange, starring Marion Cotillard, which was selected in Cannes in the category Un Certain and ran for the Caméra d'or.
The film marked a major turning point in the young director's career, and she followed it up in 2023 with Le Consentement, an adaptation of the novel of the same name.
