SUBMIT A FILM

Through its short and feature film competitions, the MCM celebrates the boldness of emerging cinematic voices and the creative power of film music. Each year, 10 feature films and nearly 70 short films compete for a series of awards, including the prestigious Grand Prizes for Best Original Score.

Film teams from across Europe and around the world are warmly invited to submit their work. Fiction, documentary, experimental… All genres are welcome, as long as they feature an original musical score. Recognized as a Category A festival by the CNC, the MCM offers filmmakers international visibility and a powerful springboard for securing funding for their projects.

FEATURE FILM

COMPETITION

To be eligible, your film must [1] be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd feature film, [2] have an original score imperatively composed by a composer, [3] last more than 60 minutes, and [4] have been completed after September 2025.

To submit your film, go to the FestiCine platform before November 15th, 2026. The selections will be announced in mid-January 2027.

SHORT FILM

COMPETITION

To be eligible, your film must [1] be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd film, [2] have an original score or a specific work on the sound of the film, [3] run less than 30 minutes, and [4]have been completed after September 2025.

To submit your film, go to the Short Film Depot platform before October 5, 2026. The selections will be announced in mid-January 2027.
