From SiRAR, which supports the creation of a first short film and its original score, to the Espace Kiosque for screenwriters, along with the 3rd Character program and the Master Class in Film Music Composition — discover all the opportunities to apply.

Institut Français – Création Africa x MCM

In 2025, the MCM launched a major partnership with the Institut français through the Africa Creative Sounds program, a support scheme for cultural and creative industries implemented as part of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs’ Création Africa initiative. This collaboration aims to strengthen the international visibility of African talents and support their professional development.

From the first encounters at the International Market for Film Music Composition to selections at renowned film festivals, the films that have passed through the Festival international Music & Cinema Marseille continue to gain momentum. In 2025, more than thirty short films and seven features emerging from the Market went on to reach cinemas and earn numerous awards and distinctions—a success that underlines the Market’s key role in the landscape of music for image.
