Vivaldi et moi
Au début du XVIIIᵉ siècle, l’Ospedale della Pietà à Venise recueille et forme de jeunes orphelines à la musique. Dissimulé au public, souvent masqué ou derrière une grille, l’orchestre de jeunes filles se produit pour les riches mécènes de l’institution. Cécilia, 20 ans, y excelle en tant que violoniste. Jusqu’au jour où l’arrivée d’un nouveau maître de musique, Antonio Vivaldi, vient bousculer sa vie et celle de l’Ospedale.
Venice, early 18th century. Renowned for its exceptional music program, the Pièta orphanage is home to Cecilia, a 20-year-old violin virtuoso. Despite her extraordinary talent, Cecilia remains confined within the orphanage and, like all the girls there, her only escape seems to get married. Yet, her life changes drastically when Antonio Vivaldi, a brilliant and ambitious composer, arrives as the new violin teacher. Through a complex artistic relationship with Vivaldi and his music, Cecilia finds the strength to challenge the destiny that once seemed inevitable.
