In addition to the many screenings held at Artplexe and partner venues, the MCM presents, both in the lead-up to and throughout the Festival, a wide range of conferences, professional meetings, premieres, concerts, and special events (like audio description battles). These gatherings are designed to broaden the dialogue between music and image, to open spaces for reflection on the artistic, economic, and technological challenges shaping the sector, and to encourage exchange between artists, industry professionals, and audiences.

Every year, MCM teams up with Chinese Man Records for its parties at Blum Canebière. For this edition, it's offering four unmissable Applause-branded parties, with DJ sets at Blum on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for the closing night.
