Anthony Sahyoun

COMPOSER

Composer Anthony Sahyoun is invited to the 27th edition of the Festival international Music & Cinema Marseille alongside director Cyril Aris to revisit their collaboration on the film Un monde fragile et merveilleux, presented as part of the Duets. This Off-Competition Program highlights enduring partnerships between directors and composers—faithful collaborations that, film after film, captivate the eye and resonate with the ear.

Anthony Sahyoun is a Lebanese composer, musician, and programmer. He co-founded the group Kinematik (2015) and the sextet SANAM (2021), and released his second solo album, Proof by Infinite Descent, in 2021. He collaborates with Hans Joachim Irmler (FAUST), Fadi Tabbal, Youmna Saba, Mazen Kerbaj, Sandy Chamoun, and Jad Atoui.

Since 2018, he has been a partner at Tunefork Studios, where he works as a producer, sound designer, and sound mixer (Sandy Chamoun, SANAM, Kid Fourteen).

He also composes for films, including Un monde fragile et merveilleux (Best Original Score, CineMed 2025) and Danser sur un volcan by Cyril Aris (2023), Une rose ouverte by Ghassan Salhab (2019), and for art installations such as DreamScape by Yuri Pattison and Shabah Al Rih with Aia Atoui.
