Danser sur un volcan

Le film Danser sur un volcan a été présenté à la 25e édition du Festival international Music & Cinema Marseille, en 2024.

Après l'explosion au port de Beyrouth du 4 août 2020, une équipe de tournage fait face à un dilemme terrible : affronter le chaos de la catastrophe et poursuivre le tournage de leur film, ou l’abandonner face aux crises qui gagnent le pays. Danser sur un volcan met en évidence la résilience de l’équipe et raconte leur lutte pour continuer à faire du cinéma au milieu d’une ville dévastée.

After the explosion at the port of Beirut on August 4th, 2020, a troubled film crew has to make an overwhelming decision: to face the aftermath of the catastrophe and continue the production of their movie or abandon it ? Dancing on the Edge of a Volcano chronicles their struggles and highlights the crew's resilience as they strive to find meaning and purpose in their work amidst the devastation.
