Thibault Cohade has been collaborating for over ten years on projects in cinema, live performance, and contemporary dance. He also works as an orchestrator and arranger on productions for Canal+ and Disney+.
Since 2020, he has been touring in France with his cine-concert Poo Poo Pee Doo, a reinterpretation of the character Betty Boop in an electronic version. He is currently developing a new audiovisual live project in partnership with INA.
Trained at the CNSMD of Lyon, he develops a hybrid musical language combining instrumental writing and electronic music, conceived as a sonic material serving narrative and sensory experience. His work is rooted in experimentation, trans(de)formation, and movement.
Alongside his artistic practice, he is committed to knowledge transmission and has been teaching computer music (MAO) within the film composition class at the CNSMD of Lyon since 2019.
In 2023, his work was awarded the Prix collégiens/lycéens for Best Music at the MCM for the film Des Tresses by Leïla Macaire.
