Nelson Ghrénassia is a graduate of ESAD Paris, holds a master’s degree in Theatre Studies from Paris III, and a master’s degree in Film Production from Paris I. He worked for several years as an actor and theatre distribution manager before fully dedicating himself to film production.
At Yukunkun, he has produced around fifty short films, all widely screened and award-winning at festivals: from Cannes to Venice, from Locarno to the César Awards, as well as Clermont-Ferrand, Toronto, Tribeca, and, of course, the MCM. He has helped launch the careers of numerous filmmakers who later went on to direct feature films, and has produced and co-produced several feature-length films, including Three Nights a Week by Florent Gouelou (Venice 2022) and Fario by Lucie Prost (Locarno 2024).
He is also a graduate of La Fémis and a member of several commissions and expert committees.
