Isabel et Ramon se sont aimés mais ont fini par divorcer et ne se voient plus depuis quinze ans. Maribel, leur fille, demande pourtant à sa mère, qui a refait sa vie depuis longtemps, de s'occuper de son ex-mari, atteint d'une maladie terminale.
Isabel and Ramón once loved each other but eventually divorced and have not seen one another for fifteen years. Yet their daughter, Maribel, asks her mother—who has long since moved on with her life—to take care of her ex-husband, who is suffering from a terminal illness.

Née à Saragosse, au nord de l’Espagne, Pilar Palomero est diplômée en philologie hispanique. En 2013, elle suit le Master en réalisation à la Film Factory (Sarajevo) sous le mentorat de Béla Tarr. Elle a travaillé pendant plusieurs années comme scénariste et professeur. Ses courts-métrages ont été présentés dans plusieurs festivals, et elle a participé aux Sarajevo Talents en 2017 et aux Berlinale Talents en 2017. Las Niñas est son premier long-métrage en tant que scénariste et réalisatrice.
Born in Zaragoza, in northern Spain, Pilar Palomero holds a degree in Hispanic Philology. In 2013, she completed a Master’s in Directing at the Film Factory (Sarajevo) under the mentorship of Béla Tarr. She worked for several years as a screenwriter and teacher. Her short films have been screened at numerous festivals, and she took part in Sarajevo Talents in 2017 and Berlinale Talents in 2017. Las Niñas is her first feature film as both screenwriter and director.

Vicente Ortiz Gimeno est un compositeur, chef d’orchestre et orchestrateur espagnol basé à Los Angeles. Ses projets ont été récompensés par le Prix International de Composition « Ciutat de Llíria », le Millican Composition Award, le Berklee Composition Competition et le Steve Kaplan Award de l’ASCAP Foundation. Il a composé et orchestré pour des films comme Tom’s Dilemma, Pancho, La Vida Inesperada et Getúlio, des séries (Isabel, 30 for 30) et des documentaires (JFK: Like No Other, An Honest Liar). Diplômé Summa Cum Laude en composition pour le cinéma au Berklee College of Music, il a été assistant chef d’orchestre à la Berklee Symphony Orchestra et directeur musical de la Berklee Society of Composers Chamber Orchestra. Il a dirigé des enregistrements à 20th Century Fox, The Bridge et WGBH. En 2015, il a composé A l’ombra del campanar, créé par le California String Quartet.
