Every morning, secondary and high schools’ students are invited to discover two programs of eight colorful short films each. Each film addressing a different theme, these programs involve unique and high quality art forms, and raise awareness on issues such as belonging to adolescence, family, difference, inequalities…
Using the varying tones of comedy, irony, poetry, and sometimes drama, these films brings us beyond borders, in order to better observe and feel the issues that, in the end, hit close to home.
With the aim of defending young creation and concerned about giving an important place to image education, Music & Cinema - Marseille offers, each year, a program intended for an audience from 4 to 11 years old.
This year, we propose a selection of three short films programs and two animated feature films accessible from 6 years old: Même les souris vont au paradis de Denisa Grimmova et Jan Bubenicek, et Ma mère est un gorille (et alors ?) de Linda Hambäck, for the pleasure of children and adults. These programs, chosen for their international dimension, allow young spectators to discover both new worlds and the richness of cinema.
