Marcia ROMANO

SCRIPTWRITER - FEATURE FILM JURY

Born in Buenos Aires, Marcia Romano moves from Argentina to France in the late 70s. She works as a cashier at Mac-Mahon at the same time as studying cinema, then gains skills and experience at filming, shooting and scriptwriting in different production companies.

In that period of time, she co-wrote her first script, Les vacances (1997), a short film directed by Emmanuelle Bercot. It’s the beginning of many collaborations as right after she starts working with François Ozon, Emmanuel Bourdieu, Éric Rochant, Xavier Giannoli, Radu Mihaileanu, Audrey Estrougo, Audrey Diwan, Édouard Baer, Alice Winocour, Philippe Petit, Mathias Gokalp, etc.
