Through its various regional, national, and international initiatives, the association Alcimé aims to promote and develop both cinematic creation and music composition for screen in all their richness and diversity, through year-round activities.
Since 1999, Alcimé has built its mission around four main areas of expertise:
+ Organizing and producing the Festival international Music & Cinema Marseille
+ Supporting artists involved in directing, screenwriting, and music composition through film score master classes, script competitions, and more via the Lab on Mars initiative
+ Implementing educational programs and training opportunities, including film screenings and workshops for young audiences, cultural outreach projects, and participation in the development of Master's programs
+ Promoting cultural diversity through international collaborations, such as international film program exchanges, film-concerts and curated screenings, as well as activities driven by inclusion and cultural democratization
