The association Alcimé, organizing structure of the Festival, is partner of the Master InMICS (International Master in Composition for Screen).

InMICS is an international master’s degree programme in composition for visual media, created in 2018 by 4 European and Canadian institutions and 4 professional organisations active in the audiovisual sector. This 2-year programme gives students the chance to hone their knowledge and skills, share their talents, and develop their own personality and projects within an international and professional environment.

InMICS offers an international experience to students: each of them studies at 2 of the 4 academic partners, and receives a double Master’s degree upon completion of the programme.

The 4 institutions deliver a different teaching approach to Composition for visual media:

  • Conservatorio G.B. Martini Bologna (Italy): Electroacoustic Composition for Screen
  • KASK & Conservatory (HOGENT) in Ghent (Belgium): Composition for Animation, Documentary and Video
  • CNSMD de Lyon (France): Scoring for Screen
  • Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Music (Canada): Composition for Video Games
 Who is InMICS for?

InMICS is dedicated to students, who graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music (or equivalent), highly skilled, as well as individual, creative, critically aware, innovative and professional in their approach of composition for screen.
